quick run to CVS included 2 ocean sprays, which were 2/6 get back 1 ecb, dove and degree, was spend 20 get 10, so I bought 4 deodorants and 1 lotion, and then chapstick was a price match, 2.99 get 2.99 back, and the bayer was 1.50, and i had 1.50 q's. I spent 10 ecbs and 12.xx oop, and got back 15 ecbs!! woohoo!!!

I LOVE to price match. Its so great. I price matched the chips 2/6 (plus 1register reward) then the huggies were 9.99 (plus 3single check rebate) the kotex was 2.99 (2.00 scr), st ives 3.99 (3 scr) and the lotion was 4.99 (4.00scr). There was a different girl working, so intead of giving me ecbs instead of the rr or scr, she just deducted them from the total. I ended up having a total of 9.xx after my coupons, so I grabbed a water so I could use my 10.00 ecb, and spend nothing oop. I still have 10ecbs to do another deal later this week, woohoo!!!

I had a really bad Tuesday. Carter was a complete crab-apple, so when Josh came home, I ran out to Savers and Shaws. Luckily my buddy Marco was working and we got to goof around. He sold me a mark down cake for.. a good deal..and decorated it for me, all harry potter style. I also got the soap and the TGIF stuff. I spend 15 and got back 5 for my next shopping trip.. not to mention a super cool cake!!

CVS has a deal with week if you by 20.00 worth of selected things, you get 10 ecbs back. I bought 2 benadryls, and 2 simply salines, for 5.00 each. I used 1.00 coupons for each of them. I also picked up 6 bayer, which were 1.50, and I used 1.50 coupons, and 4 waters for Josh. I ended up paying 0 oop, 15 ecbs, and got back 10 ecbs, now that is a deal!!

Tonight I did 6 transactions, I use the catalinas from the other night, ended up paying 15.00 oop, and left with 3 10.00 catalinas, and ALOT of food!!

Have I mentioned 99.9% off the food has boxtops on it, which I cut off and sell??? Some of it I can't cut until its eaten, but things like the cereal and granola bars I can cut off since it doesn't really do anything to the food inside. Can I get a HOLLA!!

Ahh, I love a good Shaws deal!! As I mentioned before they have a deal running where you spend 25.00 (shelf price) on certain items, and get 10.00 back for your next order. I spent the day Friday going through my coupons, and setting up transactions to make my shopping easier. I managed to set up 22 transactions, and the items in the pictures make up 8 of those transactions. I ended up paying 21.30 oop for everything above and I thought I left with 2 10.00 catalinas, but I actually left with 3!! woot woo!

I bought a gallon of milk, 3 St Ives (scrubs?), 2 BenGay heat patches, Arm&Hammer deodorant, 3 Visine drops, 2 Hershey bars, Purell, Noxema cleansing pads, Violage shampoo and conditioner, frutopia shampoo and conditioner, 2 dove shampoos, and 2 dove conditioners, 3 revlon nail polish's, 6 small cashew bags, 6 (or 8?) bags of candy-ness, 7 schick razor 2-packs, 5 waters. I spent 5.00 oop (out of pocket) and got back 8 ecbs!!

I did 2 transactions, and paid a little UNDER 4.00 for everything, and left with ecbs to boot!! I'm not sure how many I left with, since they are in the car, but I know it was good. The dentex pics, chapstick, toothbrush, vaseline, and herbal essence were all pretty much free, if not a money maker. I did price matching from Walgreens, so instead of register rewards, I got ecbs!!! I probably left there with 12-15 ecbs :) WootWoo!!

Im going back tommorrow to get the Monster VS. Aliens movie. If you buy 20.00 worth of coke products, you get 15.00 off the movie. So I'm going to pair that with a 5/25 and get a whole bunch of liquds and a movie!!

Wii Fit-ness

My poor Wii was sold on ebay, not to long ago, luckily one of my friends has one. I hoped on today to see my stuff, and it was scary, but not as scary as I thought it would be. When I had my Wii I was 213, my BMI was 44%.

I had no meal type foods in my house, except for mac n' cheese, so off to Shaws I went. I've decided that I'm going to TRY to start eating better, so I got some non-processed items.... bananas, apples, grapes, carrots, potatos, onions. I got corned beef (which isn't great, but I will eat the carrots!) and some other sort of beef. I figure I can put it in a crock pot, and eat a normal persons portion. I'm going to try to sit down and make a meal plan for the week and see what I can do. So far eating healthy is sucking.. I spent 61 bucks at Shaws today on the food pictured above. (please note that I am not going near the red baron or hot pocket items) (ew)

I went to CVS this morning, with the crankiest child in the WORLD. I had 17 ecbs, and a 5/25 coupon. I bought 2 newspapers, fusion razors (-4.00q), 2 chocolate covered almonds (-2.00q) , 2 bounce dryer bars (-3.00 q), and vaseline lotion (-1.00q) and paid .88 oop and got back 12 ecbs. I also got 8.00 towards my spend 25 get 10 ecbs!! woohoo!

So Josh was feeling sickie and needed some cold-eze and cough drops. I had nothing like that in my stockpile, and no coupons, so what to do, what to do. I went to CVS hoping they had a CVS brand and I could use a 2.00 off 10.00 coupon, something is better than nothing!! They did indeed have a CVS cold-eze for 5.19, then the CVS cough drops were 1.29. For fillers to get up to 10.00 I bought 2 waters (.99 each) and 2 packages of nuts .99 each, and I had a 2.00 coupon) . I also had a 5.00 off any lumene purchase, and bought an item for 2.99 hoping to get the overage, which I did. So all the above cost under 5.00!!!

I got 6 bottles or water, 8 cashew bags, 10 Johnson& Johnson baby products, 10 vo5 products, 3 nailspolishs, 3 sally hansen lip.. stuff, kotex light day pads (boxtop!) 2 dove bars, 3 tweezers, 6 airwick motion i-sprays, toothpaste, and 2 starbucks drinks.. I have not been a good blogger lately. Not sure why.. could it be the 100 and something things on ebay? not sure. I went to CVS the other day, and spent 42 bucks (gasp!) but I got back 25 ecbs, and left with lots of good smelling things, and diapers!!

Today I went in, and did 3 transaction. The nail polish was 1.00 each, and I had 1.00 coupons, making them FREE.. Pampers were price matched from Rite Aid at 9.99, I got back 2 ecbs, and I used a 2.00 coupon.. Treseme was also price matched from Rite Aid, it was 3/12, and got back 5 ecbs, plus I had 1.00 off each. The Garnier Fructis was price matched from Walgreen. They were 3/10, spend 20 get 10 ecbs.. and coupons!! I spent a little over 6.00 oop, and left there with all that stuff, and 26 ecbs!!

I've been so busy with Ebay lately, that I haven't done much shopping, but last night I went to CVS, and found out just what 14.00 and 7 ecbs can buy you.

I had my CVS price match walgreens for the deodorant price (1.99-1.oocoupon) and the schick razors BOGO (9.99 each- used 2 4.00 off coupons), and rite aid BOGO covergirl (used BOGO covergirl coupon). There was also a rite aid offer for TrueNorth nuts, 3.00 get 3.00 register rewards back, so I got ecbs instead :) AND listerine was 2.99 get 2 register rewards, cvs is running a similar deal this week (3.99 get 1 ecb back) so I took advantage of both!! The rest I just had coupons for (or needed badly) and it was totally awsome!!! Thanks to Justin for telling me CVS does more than price matching, they do ecbs matching!! I can't wait to check out next weeks ads and see all the goodness I can get from CVS!!

I bought 2 24 packs of diet pepsi, 4 v8 splash, 1 v8 fusion, gallon of milk, 4 glade candles, multi surface cleaner, spegettio o's, 6 packages of rice, loaf of bread, and aluminum foil. I spent 30 bucks, and got a 5.00 catalina to use for my next order. I think this is the most I've spent at the grocery store in weeks!! It was sad :(

So I got a decent deal on a few apples the other day and decided I would make applesauce. My grandmother always made the best homemade applesauce. I still cannot re-create it, but I try. She had the easiest recipe, apples, sugar water, boil, eat.

There were NO great deals this week, but I still needed some stuff, so off to Shaws I went. I did have 10.00 in catalinas to help myself out. I ended up grabbins some bananas for my special K cereal, and while I was in that area I saw some apples for .72. It's the perfect amount to make some applesauce, so I'll be doing that in the next night or so. I then got some Red Baron Singles which Josh likes to take for lunch. They are on sale for 2.99, and I got .75 coupons from the paper (and they double), and a anytizer snack which was 2.50 and I had a .75 coupons for that too! I also grabbed some soda, buns and nuggets... after all those coupons and catalinas, I paid 4.83 cents! Woohoo!!

I have not been loving the CVS deal lately, and this week is no different!! I did go on to browse and see if anything was clearanced, but nothing good. They did have a decent ecb deal with the crest, and I had a coupon, so I grabbed 2 of those. The schicks are BOGO making them 4.99 each, and I had a 4.00 off coupon. Since they only had one the manager just price adjusted it for me. The Kotex were free after my 1.50 off coupons, plus they have boxtops on them, which as you know, is a money maker for me!! I actually didn't feel like going to Shaw's tonight, but my husband told me it would make me feel better (I was having a blah day) I decided to go. He was right, a good deal does make me feel better. I did 4 transactions in order to purchase all of the above. I spent 5.80 oop and left there with 10 ecbs!! And about 80% off what I bought also has boxtops on it, that I can sell on ebay!!!

So I went to CVS, I had 6.99 in ecbs to blow, and a 4/20 coupon. I bought the Pantene Styler, Loving Care hair dye, Soaftsoap shower stuff, bounce dryer, and M&M's, and a anniversary card. The M&M's were free with a coupon, I had 2.50 off of bouce, 1.00 manufacture and 1.00 cvs offt he soaftsoap, 2.00 off the loving care, and 1.00 off pantene. I spend a total of .04 oop. I recieved 6 ecbs!

I did 2 transactions at Shaws today. I bought the popcorn, 2 peter pans, reeses pieces and cups, and 6 things of tuna. I spent a little over a buck oop after my 10.oo catalinas, and coupons. Then I got 2 5.00 catalinas back for buying 25.00 worth of participating products. Check your Shaws flyer, or online flyer for details.

Then I did a transaction with the 3 nutri grain boxes, and 2 cocoa krispies. I had a coupon for a free box of krispies which was most helpful, and after my other coupons, I used one 5.00 catalina, and spend 3.50 oop, and got back 10.00 catalina. So I walked out with all that food, and 15.00 in catalinas!!

I went to CVS to just get some water for Josh, and managed to leave the store with all this (and a case of 24 CVS brand bottled waters) I used 5.98 in ecbs, plus coupons and 3.89 oop, and got back 3 ecbs. It doesn't sound like THAT great of a deal, but considering I got the big package of water for Carter's birthday party, and a package of M&M's, it made for a great trip. One thing of my to do list, and one thing to put in my belly!

So I did 2 transactions. I have no idea how many catalinas I used to pay, but I used around 1.50 oop to pay for everything. I also recieved 2 5.00 catalinas and 2 50 bonus boxtops, 1.00 coupon for buying velveeta, and 1.50 for buying something general mills (but I'm not sure why?). I still have 15 catalinas, so I'm going to try to do another deal this week, but I'm not sure. I was very excited to get 2 boxes of trash bags, its not often that you get a good deal on those!!

Oh, and to keep you up to date. I did sell 300 boxtops on ebay today for 28.00.. and I think I might have enough to do another huge lot!!! Talk about getting paid to shop!

I made 2 cvs trips today. The first one was the picture above. I got 2 razors, 3 candles and 6 J&J band-aid to go's. All for free. That's right. FREE. I didn't have to use any extra bucks, and I got 4 ecbs for buying for the band-aids! woohoo!!

Then I went back tonight and used those 4 ecbs and 4 from another day, plus coupons, got the 4 cases of soda, 3 waters, and 4 sobe's for a little under 10 bucks, and then got 4 ecbs back. Not bad for all that liquid!!

Finally a good week at CVS.. I say that like its been some sort of dry spell...

I went to CVS Sunday morning, armed with 4 ecbs and coupons. I did a transaction for the 2 packages of pens and 2 filler papers. I spend 0 oop and got back 3.98 (or so?)

Then I did a huge transaction including ..... 6 packages of trail mix, 8 dry ideas, 4 sobe life water, bottle of listerine with a free reach brush, colgate, J&J band-aids, and m&m's. After my coupons and ecbs, I spend .78 oop and got back 2 ecbs!! woot woo!

The deals just don't stop!! I did 3 transactions at Shaws today. I spent about .50 oop, used some of my catalinas ( I dont remember how many, but it wasn't THAT much) and I got back 3 5.00 catalinas and 3 5o bonus points for boxtops!! The best bargain was for the Hefty Zoopals plates. The shelf price (at my Shaws) is 3.19. They are on sale for 3/15, or 1.66 each. I then used a 1.00 off any 2 hefty plates coupons. I totally needed plates for Carter's birthday, so these were a great price and something I actually needed. Also the shelf price on the trash bags is 7.49, and they are on sale for 5.99 and there is a 1.00 off coupon that can be printed. I found it in the coupon database at www.coupons.com

I can't wait for my next trip.. hopefully tommorrow!!

That is how the saying goes right? Well it is true. The other day my friend Mel sent me and email with a coupon link for 3.50 cents off a Wanchai Ferry Frozen Meal. I thought, WOW, that is huge, I need to print this. I got lazy and didn't do it. Today I went to print it, and there were no more left. I have learned my lesson! Don't make the same mistake if something shows up in your inbox!

I was at Savers the other day and they were putting out the Halloween stuff. I bought Carter's halloween outfit last year (Old Navy, 5.00, woohoo!) and he is going to be a Bat. Vampire Bat (Oh Yea) I have no idea what I'm going to be though!! Last year he was a dragon, and I was a princess locked in a tower, except without the tower. What goes with a bat though? HELP!!

Small Rant

I first started my coupon crazy-ness when I went on a trip to Kmart with Mel. They were doubling coupons up to and including 2.00, and I remember being amazed with all the stuff she got for nothing. Then I started couponing, and the rest is history.

Speaking of history, I guess the Kmart doublers are too. I see online ALL the time that a Kmart here, or a Kmart there is doubling. Never the Kmarts around here anymore though. Its really sad. I feel like Kmart was my first coupon love, and its gone.

So if you, Kmart, read this. I miss you. I refuse to shop with you without you doubling my coupon.. I'm sorry, but thats the way it is. Please, bring back your doublers so we can be together again.

I am loving shaws again this week. They have a boxtops promotion going. Spend 20.00 (shelf price!) in select boxtop items, and get a 5.00 coupon for your next order, and a coupon for 50 bonus boxtops. As many of you know I collect my boxtops and sell them on Ebay, and if you didn't know, now you do! I went in there tonight, and got what you see above for a little over 3.00 oop. For my first transaction I bought 4 apple cinnamon cheerios, and 1 trix. I used .55 coupon for the trix, and 2 1.00 any 2 cheerios. I paid 2.70 oop and got the 5.00 coupon back and the extra boxtop coupons. My second transaction I bought 6 Trix, one kleenex, 4 amp energy drinks, caprisun box, and 2 chips ahoy snack packs. I used 6 .55 off Trix coupons, 4 .50 off amp (making them free) 1.00 off any 2 nabisco cookies (they were already bogo, so super great deal) and the caprisun was free with a inad-coupon for buying 2 multi snacks (the cookies). My total was 8.39, I then used a 2.00 off any order and a 5.00 catalina, and paid 1.39 oop, got the 5.00 catalina, and 50 boxtops bonus. WOOT WOO!!

Also, all the products have boxtops on them (well most of them), so I'll be cutting those off and saving them up to sell!! I currently have a lot of 300 boxtops on ebay!

I've been trying to figure out how to put links on my blog, without putting the whole link. All the other cool blog has links that just say HERE and then you can click on them. So with the help of Mel and her awesome blogger-ness, I think I know how!

She told me to click on the world with the chains, it will pop up with a box for a address, then you copy and past the address (or type if you know it) and then at the end there is a > mark. She told me if I put the word HERE inbetween the ><>it should work.. Let's see:
